Tribeca Tables Pulls Out Of US

Tribeca Tables Europe, Ltd., has announced that it will be withdrawing its poker room from the following territories: The USA, Israel, and Hong Kong.

Tribeca will be assisting its clients, particularly the USA, with coping with the transition. The pullout was done in light of the recently passed Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. The company has made it known that it will now be focusing on non-US territories and new markets.

"We are now initiating this policy and will work closely with our customers to ensure as little harm as possible to their overall business," Erik Ahlberg, new President of Tribeca Tables said.

"The board have taken a considerable amount of time to weigh up all of the options and sought a great deal of legal and market advice. Sadly we have no alternative. We have concluded that it is the best way forward for the company," Steve Cook, European managing director for Tribeca Tables added.

Tribeca has under its umbrella many European facing brands including Sporting Index, Paddy Power, Blue Sq, Victor Chandler. Tribeca also now has within its family Expekt.com, as a result of a recent merger with Tain.

Tribeca will also make further announcements regarding its poker network in due course.
